Yahoo! Maps Goes Flex

Yahoo! has released a new beta version of its mapping software using Macromedia Flex. From this post, you will know that I love me some Flex and this is easily the most high profile Flex project to date. The application they have written is pretty sweet and may even be better than Google Maps (written using DHTML and AJAX), which has been my map service of choice to date. Although I have not checked it out yet, I also hear that the Yahoo! Maps Flex API is pretty extensive and easy to use.

Robert informed me that Yahoo! did a demo of this app at MAX, but apparently I missed the memo (Ha!...no memo of the demo). I knew they were there...I just did not pay attention as to why.
