I Tied the Knot...A Freakin' Month Ago!

Yeah, I know it has been almost a month since I got married, but that just shows you how busy I have been. From the moment I returned from my Aruba honeymoon work has been non-stop craziness. My summer officially belongs to the golfing gods. Not only have I been busy, but Sarah, my new wife (it still feels weird to say!), started grad school three days after we got back. She has class four days a week for almost four hours at a time. No rest for the weary I guess. Despite our lives still being rather hectic, there is nothing that can make me forget the fact that my wedding was the best day of my life.

The entire wedding week was awesome actually. Sarah and I organized a few smaller events prior the wedding day. We had a pool party at our apartment complex, rehearsal luncheon at the 755 Club at Turner Field, a dessert reception, and the infamous bachelor and bachelorette parties. These activities gave me a chance to see all the out-of-towners, and for the out-of-towners to get to know each other. With the opportunity for guests to become more comfortable in the foreign environment that is the ATL, everybody was able to let go a bit and really get into the wedding day itself.

I could talk about the wedding and all the events surrounding the wedding in detail, but a run-through of the itinerary would be rather boring. I have found that the best way to describe the feelings and emotions is visually. A picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a half million words:

The Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties
The Rehearsal Luncheon
The Wedding Reception
The Honeymoon

Brian's Pics

What more can somebody ask for in a wedding? My entire family was there. All my closest friends were there. And I got to marry the most amazing person I have ever met. I have had a difficult time finding the words to describe all the emotions that I felt during the wedding. The best way I can sum them up are with this quote:

I don't have all the answers. In life, to be honest, I've failed as much as I've succeeded. But I love my wife. I love my life, and I wish you my kind of success.
