Google SMS

Google's success can be linked to many things, one of which has to be innovation. A mere few months ago, Google released Gmail (for which I still have 6 invites), a web-based email tool designed to redefine how the world looks at email. Now Google has released another interesting tool called Google SMS.

Google SMS (Short Message Service) takes a query you enter from your cell phone, sends it a special Google service, and you receive a response a few seconds later. It will allow you to look up people, phone numbers, restaurants in certain area codes, and loads of other things...all without Internet connectivity. Really neat.

Oh the possibilities.
